A Learning Community

The Department of Computer Science at Eastern Kentucky University invites applications for a Lecturer position to begin August 15, 2016. The department offers the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and the Master of Science in Applied Computing. The successful candidate is expected to teach fifteen credit hours in the fall and fifteen credit hours in the spring. Experience teaching computer science major and service classes, ITV courses, large lecture classes, or education majors is preferred. Candidates are invited to discuss their online teaching capability in their letter of application. Minimum requirements are a Masters degree from a regionally (SACS, North Central, etc.) accredited or international recognized institution with at least 18 graduate semester hours in computer science or related field. This Lecturer appointment is renewable annually depend upon annual evaluations and the needs of the university.

Offers of employment are contingent upon satisfactory criminal background check and educational credential verification.
